If you’ve ever sat staring at a blank screen thinking, “What on earth am I supposed to post today?” — you’re not alone.
Many women I work with have left corporate careers to start their own consultancies, coaching practices, or service-based businesses.
They’re experienced, capable, and brilliant at what they do.
But when it comes to marketing themselves? That’s where things start to feel uncertain.
They think they have a content problem — but in truth, it’s usually a clarity problem.
When your message isn’t clear, content creation becomes a guessing game.
You second-guess your tone, your topic, even your audience.
You’re not sure if what you’re saying is relevant, professional, or even helpful.
And when something doesn’t feel clear, it’s almost impossible to stay consistent.
The truth is:
You can’t create consistent content if your message keeps changing
You can’t sell confidently if you’re not sure what you're offering
You can’t attract ideal clients if you don’t know who they are
Clarity is the foundation. Content is the expression.
Trying to build visibility without a clear message is like decorating a house that hasn’t been built yet.
When your message is clear, everything else gets easier.
🌿 You start attracting people who already feel aligned with what you do
🌿 You stop wasting time rewriting or avoiding posts
🌿 You start sounding like yourself — not someone else
🌿 You feel more confident showing up, because you know what you stand for
And more than that:
🌿 You begin to step into the identity of the business owner you’re becoming — someone who shares with confidence and connects with ease 💗
Let’s start with three simple questions:
Who do you help?
What problem do you solve?
What outcome do you help them achieve?
Here’s my own example:
Who I help:
I support women who’ve left corporate to build their own consultancy, coaching, or service-based business.
What problem I solve:
Many of them feel unclear on their offer, unsure how to position themselves, and overwhelmed by marketing and sales. I help them simplify their message, structure their systems, and build strong foundations for growth.
The outcome they get:
They gain clarity, confidence, and consistent momentum — so they can attract the right clients and grow a business they love.
Once you’ve answered those three questions, shape your answers into a short paragraph.
Say it out loud. Post it online. Use it to introduce yourself.
And notice how much easier it becomes to speak about what you do.
Write your own version of the three-question framework above.
Then turn it into a short paragraph (or even a social post) that clearly says:
👚 Who you help
🌸 What you help them with
🌿 Why you’re the right person to support them
It doesn’t need to be perfect — just honest.
The more you say it, the more it will evolve.
And the more you share it, the more confident you’ll feel.
